## 1.0.0 (November 2026)

- **Templates from any reel:** add one video you love and EditWithChat studies everything about how it’s edited — format, captions and fonts, on-screen text, motion graphics, pacing and sound effects — then edits every new video the same way.
- **Your brand, one click:** a new Brand tab in Settings for your logo, colours, fonts, brand images, intro and outro. Turn on “Edit with my brand style” on any video.
- **YouTube videos:** a landscape 16:9 format, alongside Reels, feed and square.
- **A simpler Home:** four clear steps — your video, your extras, a template, Edit. Add stock images and clips to use in the video, not just references.
- **Videos:** the Library is now Videos, with one-click deletion of raw footage you no longer need.
- **Automatic updates**, and your data and license carry over to every update and reinstall.

## 0.2.0 (November 2026)

- **Five ready-made looks:** Bookshelf Talk, Split Screen Explainer, Big Word Story, Tool Showcase and Fast Documentary.
- **Add a reference** right on Home: a link to a reel, a video file or a few images.
- **Your brand:** pick your colours and logo once; captions, titles and cards use them.
- **Formats:** 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 3:4 for the feed, or square.
- **Before / after** opens automatically after the first cut, with one button to save.
- **Fix one part:** drag over the timeline and ask for a change to just those seconds.
- **Setup in the background:** start using the app while the tools download; it resumes after a restart.
- Free up space after export, delete single versions, the chat is saved with each project, and a notification when a long edit finishes.

## 0.1.0 (November 2026)

- First release: upload, pick a template, Edit, and refine by chatting with the editor.
- Templates learned from 1–3 videos you like, Library, Queue, Polish, timeline and export for every platform.
